We process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), Philippines, and the National Privacy Commission. For EU users, GDPR applies where relevant.
What we collect: Account data (email, name, hashed password); payment is processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our official reseller (we do not store full card details); monitored file URLs, snapshots on change, metadata, check logs; login/session and basic technical data (IP, browser) for security.
Paddle: Paddle is our official reseller for paid plans. For accounting and payment processing, relevant data (e.g. email, name, transaction details) is shared with Paddle in accordance with their privacy policy and applicable law.
Purpose: To provide and operate the file monitoring service, process payments, send notifications and alerts, support you, improve the service, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We process fairly and only for these purposes.
Storage & security: Data on Hetzner (Helsinki, EU); encrypted in transit and at rest; access controlled. We do not sell your data. We may share with service providers (Hetzner, Stripe, AWS SES), when required by law, or on business transfer; they are bound to protect data. In case of a harmful breach we will notify you and the NPC as required by law.
Your rights (RA 10173): Be informed, access, correct, rectify/erase/block, data portability, object, withdraw consent. Contact mail@versiontracker.io to exercise. Complaint: National Privacy Commission (complaints@privacy.gov.ph). EU users may also complain to their supervisory authority.
Cookies: Essential (session/auth) and analytics (anonymized). You can control via browser; essential cookies are required for the service. Retention: While account is active; ~30 days after deletion for account data; file history per plan; logs ~90 days. Data mainly in EU; any transfer outside EU under adequate safeguards.
We do not target minors; we do not knowingly collect their data without consent. We may update this policy; material changes will be notified; continued use is acceptance.
