VersionTracker was born out of frustration. As developers, we constantly needed to monitor configuration files, API responses, and web content for changes. The existing solutions were either too complex, too expensive, or required installing software on our servers.
We wanted something simple: paste a URL, set an interval, get notified when it changes. No installation, no configuration files, no complexity. Just reliable monitoring that works.
After using an MVP version for our own projects, we launched VersionTracker publicly and have continued improving it based on real customer usage. Today, developers rely on VersionTracker every day to monitor important files and respond faster to change.
